Club Closure/Christmas Party Cancellation: Sorry, but due to predicted bad weather conditions, Genesis Social Club is cancelled on Tuesday, December 22nd hence there will be no Christmas party that night. Sorry for any inconvienence this may have caused, but under the circumstances this was seen as the safest thing to do. Club will re-open after Christmas on Thursdays only, starting on January 14th, 2010 Please pass this message on as much as possible.

From January 2010, Genesis Social Club will only run on Thursday's, 6-8pm. This is due to a significant fall in membership in the Tuesday Club in recent months - remaining Tuesday night members are of course welcome to attend on Thursday Nights instead if they wish. This is the website of the Adult Social Club, which is run by the Genesis project in Ipswich, UK. The club meets at Genesis' premises on Wright Road, and is run as an adult social Evening, for people aged 18 and above . The club meets every Tuesday and Thursday evening, from 7-9pm, and has a number of facilities to offer. These include a computer suite, a television lounge, an art and crafts room, a weekly disco (run by members), and a darts board. We also have an outside garden, which during summer months, can be used for sports and similar outdoor activities.

    The club attracts adults of all ages from a number of backgrounds and abilities, and people can socialise in the way that they feel most comfortable, be it sitting to talk to their friends, catch the latest happenings on Eastenders, or having a dance at the disco.
